It's Nice That

Graphic design adds a perfect touch of aesthetics and color to the history of communication. It is a combination of the arts and communicating messages through visual and textual elements.

In this day where visual art has become more dynamic and transformative, it’s important to find inspirations that not only capture attention but also leave a significant impact.

Whether you are a budding graphic designer looking for inspiration or just anyone who appreciates art, these are the 5 graphic designers you must follow in 2024.

Brooke Armstrong

Brooke Armstrong is a designer and illustrator based in Illinois. She describes her works as fluid, filled with playful colors and geometrical elements.

Her most notable works include designs for Rare Beauty, Big Bunny, and Adobe. She’s also known to advocate mental health awareness through her designs because she believes that visual communication can be a helpful tool for this advocacy.

Mike Perry

Mike Perry is a Brooklyn-based multidimensional artist known for his work in the American Television Sitcom “Broad City," which won him a Primetime Emmy Award for Motion Design. His work also includes collaborations with Hermès, Jameson, and Jimmy Fallon.

He often creates different forms of abstract art, including paintings, patterns, and animation. His style is known for its bright neon palette, abstract motifs, and doodles.

He believes in the beauty of spreading the love for creativity and how it can influence people positively.

Ollie Spicer

Ollie Spicer is a graphic designer and content creator based in the UK. Ollie’s sleek designs often highlight texts in retro-inspired colors and cartoony elements.

His portfolio includes work for the Nebraskan music festival Lincoln Calling and for Hive Mind Mead & Brew Co. Aside from working with different brands, he also creates content that includes tips for branding, logo design, and Adobe software tutorials.

Lauren Hom

Lauren Hom is a designer and lettering artist in Detroit. Her designs involve whimsical letterforms and vibrant colors. She has worked with well-known brands, including Starbucks, Google, YouTube, and TIME Magazine.

Even when she was still an advertising student at the School of Visual Arts, she had already decided to pursue a creative career fueled by her passion for art and hand-lettering. She also shares her knowledge and experience through online courses and free resources on her blog.
